The Jam - Art School Secret 7"
Brief
Create a 7" record design for the track Art School by The Jam, the only restrictions been make no direct links to the track itself by avoiding using the title or the bands name.
Solution
A reaction to an idea of repurposing mass distributed punk zines from art school environments who appreciated craft and tactility into a digital format using precise vector imagery and analogue textures textures to show an idea of the oversaturation of the digital process and over dependence on the Mac within modern day Art Schools.
The use of colour and texture shows a digital emulation of material and print process, i.e the common screen print or Xerox printed newsprint zines.
